Job summary

Superdrug is hiring an Apprentice Sales Assistant in Halkirk, Scotland. You will serve customers, promote Star Buys, keep the store stocked, and work toward a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship during 12 months of in-store training.

The role offers 39 hours per week, with flexible shifts, and a starting hourly rate of £9.75–£10.55. You will train on-site with strong support and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and maths (Scotland national 4s)
• Not currently in education and available for full-time shifts
• HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Brand new to retail

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and share Star Buys
• Keep the store looking its best and fully stocked
• Help smash store targets and contribute to sales
• Participate in training to progress to Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship
• Work in-store during the 12-month training period

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you'll be right at the heart of the action-serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You'll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that's never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we'll give you everything you need to grow-with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

What you'll bring to the role:

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
