Job summary

Dennis Eagle is offering an Apprentice Quality Engineer role in Blackpool to start a career in engineering and quality. The program combines hands-on work in the Supplier Quality team with a Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship, learning data handling, quality improvement, and supplier collaboration.

You will gain experience in data analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement while contributing to quality initiatives and product introductions.

Qualifications

• Interest in engineering, quality, improvement, or how businesses operate.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with others.
• An analytical mindset and interest in data and problem-solving.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your development.
• Basic IT skills including Word, Excel, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analysing quality data to identify trends, issues and improvement opportunities.
• Supporting investigations into non-conforming or defective materials and helping to implement corrective actions.
• Working with suppliers to assess quality, capability and compliance.
• Supporting new product introduction and supplier verification activities.
• Participating in cross-functional improvement projects across the business.
• Learning and applying structured problem-solving, Lean and continuous improvement tools.
