Job summary

Harrison Spinks invites applications for an Apprentice Quality Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Leeds. The role provides hands-on exposure to quality, testing and reporting across shopfloor and lab environments.

You will learn real business processes, work closely with the Quality Manager, and develop skills in product checks, inspections, data recording and quality documentation. Training is provided, with potential for future opportunities within the business.

  • Helping with testing activities in the lab, including recording and organising results
  • Preparing and maintaining quality reports and data dashboards
  • Supporting meeting preparation (data collation and presentation)
  • Helping to organise and maintain quality records and documentation
  • Assisting with general quality tasks that ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
  • As you develop, you will gain more responsibility and exposure to wider quality and compliance activities.

Job description

At Harrison Spinks Products (HSP), we are looking for a motivated and hands‑on ApprenticeQualityEngineer to join our team and support the delivery of high‑quality products across our manufacturing operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, working closely with our Quality Manager and wider operations team.

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 39 hours.

This role is designed to give exposure across multiple areas of quality, testing, and reporting. You will support the team by:

  • Assisting with routine product and process checks on the shopfloor
