Role Description

Our Apprenticeship programme offers you an exciting opportunity to jump straight into the professional world and earn a living whilst also studying for professional qualifications. As an Apprentice, you will play an active part in driving your career development and will be exposed to a variety of projects across the business. Technical experience is key in our sector, which is why we will provide you with a clear framework to work towards chartership. You will be part of a supportive Early Careers community and will work alongside skilled professionals. You will benefit from structured on-the-job training, mentoring, plus funding and support for relevant accreditations, as well as the assistance you need to develop and succeed.

Role Accountabilities

As a Project Manager, you will work within a diverse team, developing a deep understanding of our sectors, building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, and finding ways to improve our processes. You will be responsible for monitoring project progress, liaising with clients, resolving issues promptly, identifying risks, and coordinating with contractors, providing opportunities to build your skillset.

On this apprenticeship, you will complete the BSc Project Management Degree Apprenticeship, on a day-release basis, through Coventry University.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications, grades 4-9, including Maths and English.
  • At least 3 A-Levels or equivalent qualifications at BBC minimum, or a BTEC National Diploma at DMM minimum.
  • UK/EU/EAA residency for at least three years prior to starting and the right to work in the UK.
  • At least 18 years old and having left full-time education when the apprenticeship starts.
  • Demonstrate skills such as Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technical knowledge to influence stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working is embraced where possible).
