Job summary

Cobalt Housing is offering a Plumbing and domestic heating technician apprenticeship (Level 3) in Knowsley, UK. You will gain hands-on experience in customer homes while studying at THE CITY OF LIVERPOOL COLLEGE and completing a Level 3 apprenticeship.

You'll work Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:30 and Friday 8:00–15:30, totaling about 2 years of training with support from mentors and college tutors.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Interest in plumbing and domestic heating related work.
• Desire to learn through an apprenticeship with college study.

Responsibilities

• Attend college sessions, workshops and apprenticeship reviews.
• Complete assignments, portfolio evidence and assessments within agreed timescales.
• Prepare work areas, materials, tools and equipment safely.
• Develop productivity and workmanship while completing tasks under supervision.
• Carry out plumbing repairs, installations and maintenance with a mentor.
• Develop fault diagnosis and know-how for plumbing components.
• Learn to identify leaks, blockages and simple faults.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE.
