Job summary

Abram Pharmacy is seeking an apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to join our small, friendly team. You will assist in dispensing, OTC sales, data entry and stock control, with progression to a higher-level qualification and potential full-time employment.

Applicants should have good communication, customer care, and organisational skills, with a patient and team-oriented approach. GCSEs in Maths and English are preferred; full training is provided by COREED LIMITED.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients and support OTC sales.

What You'll Do

Dispensing of medication to patients; Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication; Check and monitor prescription slips; Health & safety responsibility; Rotation of stock; Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards; Data entry relating to medication; Labelling and dispensing; Accuracy and attention to detail; Working within a team environment; Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals; Completion of apprenticeship work on time.
