GTG Training Limited is recruiting an Apprentice Panel Beater. This Modern Apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Repair (SCQF Level 6) offers hands-on training while earning a wage.

You’ll learn to repair and replace body panels, carry out alignment, welding, and safe workshop practices. GTG Training delivers block release at the GTG Training Centre with practical workplace learning and regular assessments.

Qualifications

• National 4+ in English, Maths and a Science or Technical subject.
• Willing to learn in a workshop environment.
• No automotive experience required.

What You'll Do

As a Vehicle Body Repair apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced technicians and learn how to:

• Repair and replace vehicle body panels
• Carry out vehicle body alignment repairs
• Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely
• Perform MIG/MAG welding and brazing techniques
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and professional workshop environment

No two days are the same, and you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working on a range of vehicles.

What You'll Learn

You'll complete a Modern Apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Repair (SCQF Level 6) through GTG Training. Training is delivered through block release at the GTG Training Centre, combined with practical workplace learning and regular assessments.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

• National 4 or above in English, Maths, and a Science or Technical subject (or expected to achieve these qualifications)

• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
