Job summary

GTG Training in Ayr is recruiting an Apprentice Panel Beater for an independent garage. You will repair and replace vehicle body panels, align bodies and weld using MIG/MAG, while learning health and safety in a busy workshop. Immediate start with full-time employment and on-the-job training through a Modern Apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Repair (SCQF Level 6).

You will gain hands-on experience on a range of vehicles, with regular assessments and supported learning at GTG Training Centre.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential

No two days are the same, and you'll gain valuable hands‑on experience working on a range of vehicles.

What You'll Learn

You’ll complete a Modern Apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Repair (SCQF Level 6) through GTG Training. Training is delivered through block release at the GTG Training Centre, combined with practical workplace learning and regular assessments.
