Job summary

Mitie Property Services is offering an Apprentice Painter and Decorator programme based in Nottingham. You will join a team delivering refurbishment and property improvement across the East and West Midlands, gaining hands-on experience alongside skilled decorators.

The apprenticeship combines college learning at Nottingham College with on-the-job training, supported by a dedicated Apprenticeship Team to guide you through the two-year programme.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop core painting and decorating skills, including surface prep, filling, sanding, and minor repairs.
• Support planned painting programmes and property improvements.
• Learn to safely use industry tools and decorating materials.
• Work with experienced decorators to deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service.
• Travel with the Nottingham-based team to sites across the East and West Midlands.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and sustainability in tasks.
