Job summary

Mountjoy Ltd is offering an **Apprentice Decorator** position across Fareham. You will assist tradesmen in painting, wallpaper hanging, and Artex repairs in occupied homes and vacant properties.

The programme runs for 2 years with 80% work-based learning and 20% off-the-job training, combining hands-on practice with college study at Southampton. You will work four days per week with a mentor and attend South Hampshire College Group one day per week to complete a Level 2 Painter & Decorator

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above (or Level 2 Functional Skills).
• Full UK Driving Licence expected by end of apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself and others in the workplace.
• Purchase tools during the apprenticeship to perform your role.
• Remain polite and professional at all times.
• Live Mountjoy ethos and values in all engagements.
• Be punctual in work and college settings; complete coursework on time.
• Demonstrate a real interest in decorating work.
