Mitie is offering an Apprentice Painter & Decorator position in the North West region. You will learn on the job while gaining a recognised qualification. You will work 39 hours per week, permanent, full-time, with full training across commercial, residential and public sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Internal and external painting and decorating works.
• Surface preparation, including sanding, filling and minor repairs.
• Safe use and maintenance of painting and decorating tools, materials and equipment.
• Setting up and using access equipment following appropriate training.
• Installing protective coverings, temporary screening and access plant as required.
• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring materials are available when needed.
• Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
• Working safely and complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting project teams to ensure works are completed on time and to a high standard.
