Qualifications

• CSCS Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Driving Licence - Own Vehicle.
• Over 18.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

• Basic problem-solving abilities.
• Good timekeeping and reliability.
• Interest in technology, engineering, or hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Install copper and fibre network cabling under supervision.
• Assist with containment installation (tray, trunking, conduit, basket).
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas for daily tasks.
• Support engineers with cable pulling, termination, labelling, and dressing.
• Learn to use test equipment and support basic testing activities.
• Maintain tidy work practices and good workmanship.
• Follow site safety requirements and PPE rules.
• Attend toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Assist with basic documentation such as labelling, records, photographs.
• Read and interpret drawings and site plans.
• Communicate issues to supervising engineer promptly.
• Help manage tools and materials on-site.
• Learn correct handling, storage, and selection of installation equipment.
• Support unloading, moving, and organising equipment as required.
