Job summary

Linley and Simpson Leeds/Ilkley is seeking an Apprentice Letting Consultant for Leeds City Centre. You will support branch staff with property appraisals, register tenants and landlords on VECO, and liaise with landlords and tenants to ensure smooth letting processes from instruction to move-in.

The role includes completing a Level 3 Housing and Property Management qualification plus Propertymark exams enabling ARLA membership.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Housing and Property Management qualification and Propertymark exams for ARLA eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Register all potential tenants and landlords on VECO with 2 contact numbers and emails where possible.
• Liaise with landlords and tenants to ensure smooth letting process from instruction to move-in.
• Support branch staff in achieving targeted listings and property appraisals.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth branch and company operation.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Support branch staff in achieving targeted lists and Property Appraisals

Register all potential tenants, and landlords onto the VECO system fully with 2 contact numbers and email addresses where possible.

Liaising with landlords and tenants to ensure the smooth running of the sale or letting process from new instruction to move-in

Perform any other duties which from time to time may be required to ensure the smooth running of the branch and company.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The right candidate will complete the level 3 Housing and Property management qualification as part of their training, which will also include completing propertymark exams which will allow the candidate to join ARLA which is the industry regulator.
