About the Role

Our client, a major player in the industrial manufacturing sector located in Randburg , Gauteng, is seeking to recruit Apprentice Instrumentation Technicians. This role is critical for maintaining the precision and efficiency of our client's automated processes and control systems. The apprenticeship provides a comprehensive training program, blending theoretical knowledge from technical college with practical, hands-on experience in a sophisticated industrial environment. You will learn to install, calibrate, maintain, and repair a wide array of instruments used for measuring and controlling variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
• Learn to read and interpret P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and technical drawings.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance of various process instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation faults and malfunctions.
• Assist in the maintenance of control systems, PLCs, and DCS.
