Job summary

Fairhive Homes is offering an Apprentice Heating Operative role in Aylesbury. You will learn alongside experienced engineers to install, service, maintain and repair domestic plumbing and heating systems as part of a fixed-term apprenticeship.

You will gain hands-on experience with renewable technologies such as heat pumps and solar thermal systems while progressing toward Level 3 Plumbing and Renewables Technician qualification.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn Level 3 Plumbing and Renewables Technician qualification.
• Hands-on experience in domestic plumbing and heating systems is gained during apprenticeship.
• Ability to work safely and professionally in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with installation, service, maintenance, and repair of domestic systems.
• Gain experience with heat pumps and solar thermal systems.
• Develop fault finding and problem-solving skills.
• Operate electrical controls and test systems.
