Job summary

Alarm Communications Limited is looking to appoint an Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas. You will assist with maintenance and installation of intruder, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems, working alongside a skilled engineer.

The programme combines on-the-job training with a 3-year college block-release course, consisting of 14 releases across the period. A full UK driving licence and GCSEs in Math and English are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or higher required.
• A Level or BTEC in a relevant field is desirable.
• Electrical qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance and installation of small works for Fire & Security systems.
• Support call-outs and standby duties for Intruder, CCTV, Access control and Fire Alarms.
• Provide information to enable accurate quoting of chargeable works.
• Maintain professional conduct and high standard of customer service.
• Keep accurate records of completed work.
