Our Apprenticeship Programme
The Linde Material Handling (MH) Engineering Apprenticeship Programme aims to develop skilled engineers to support our field, workshop, and site-based services. The main goal is to train you to become a fully competent Linde engineer by applying college learning, demonstrating skills to mentors, and meeting customer needs.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Engineer for the South region. You should be passionate about engineering, eager to learn, motivated to succeed, and interested in starting a career with a multinational engineering company.
The programme lasts three years, after which you will be a qualified Service Engineer with a Level 3 apprenticeship in Lift Truck & Powered Access Engineering. You will be supported by a dedicated Mentor and an Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) throughout your training, which includes college and on-the-job learning. You will learn to inspect, maintain, service, and repair various material handling equipment.
Travel to college and overnight stays are part of the training, with costs covered by us.
Upon completion, you will be a qualified Linde engineer ready to start your career.

Qualifications and qualities needed:
Passion for engineering, motivation, commitment, good communication skills, pride in work, flexibility, and a positive attitude. You should have or be predicted to have at least GCSE Grade 4 in Math and English or equivalent qualifications, and a full driving license.
