Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is offering an Apprentice Engineer Maintenance Technician position based at RAF Marham. You will learn under experienced electrical and building professionals to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment across commercial facilities.

The apprenticeship runs toward a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician dual discipline, with study at College of West Anglia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above.
• A grade 5 in Maths is required for this role.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering.
• Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good level of Attendance, self-discipline and time management.
• Meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Full UK driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist multi skilled engineers with the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in commercial buildings.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Read and interpret a range of building service drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical and electrical engineering and recommend process improvements.
