Abri is seeking an Electrician to join its Safer Homes Response Team, servicing customers across the South region. You’ll diagnose faults, install ventilation systems and carry out safety upgrades in homes, delivering quality workmanship with customer care.
Role involves testing, certification, consumer unit work and maintaining ventilation systems, with a focus on creating healthier living environments for residents. Full UK driving licence required.
At Abri, we’re all about building communities and creating homes where people can thrive. That’s why our Safer Homes team is so important.
We’re looking for an Electrician to join our Response Team, helping customers across the South region. This is a role where you’ll see the impact of your work every day. Whether you’re resolving an electrical fault, installing a new ventilation system, or carrying out vital safety work, you’ll be helping customers feel safe, comfortable and confident in their homes.
No two days are the same. One day you could be helping a customer with an urgent repair, the next supporting our work to tackle damp and mould through improved ventilation solutions. Whatever the task, you’ll take pride in delivering quality work and excellent customer service.
You’ll spend your days working in customers’ homes, carrying out a variety of electrical repairs, testing and improvement works. A big part of the role is helping us create healthier living environments through the installation, maintenance and repair of ventilation systems, including extractor fans and Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) units.
You’ll also support our wider Safer Homes programme by:
Most importantly, you’ll bring a positive approach, treating every home as if it were your own and every customer with respect and care.
We’re interested in hearing from qualified electricians who enjoy problem-solving, take pride in their work and genuinely care about the people they support.
You’ll need:
Experience of working within social housing or with ventilation systems would be great, but we’re equally interested in people who share our values and put customers at the heart of everything they do.
We’ll make sure you have everything you need to do your best work, including a fully equipped van, fuel card, tablet, mobile phone and PPE.
You’ll also benefit from:
This is more than an electrical role.
It’s an opportunity to help customers live in safer, healthier homes and be part of a team that genuinely cares about making a difference.
If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy variety in your day and want to be part of an organisation that’s making a positive impact in communities across the South, we’d love to hear from you.
