Job summary

Busy Bees Northwich is offering an Early Years Apprenticeship. Join the UK’s leading nursery group and train under experienced Early Years professionals, with dedicated mentoring and bespoke Learning & Development courses.

You will be part of a supportive team, learning on the job and progressing within Busy Bees Education and Training. You will follow the EYFS framework, plan age-appropriate activities, build strong relationships with children and parents, and contribute to safeguarding while

Qualifications

• Must have Maths and English qualifications (GCSE 3/D or above or Level 2 Functional Skills).
• UK resident for at least 3 consecutive years to meet funding eligibility.
• Desire to start a career in Early Years.

Responsibilities

• Help plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
• Support the team to provide high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences for all children.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure children’s individual needs are understood and met.
• Contribute to the safeguarding of all children.
• Work proactively toward completing your apprenticeship provided by Busy Bees Education and Training within the expected timeframe.
• Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to your own development.
• Show an enthusiastic, proactive, and open approach to learning new skills every day.
• Provide your line Manager with regular information about the activities and progress within the room.

About our Nursery

Busy Bees Northwich has a capacity of 107 children and is rated "Good" by Ofsted. Our purpose-built nursery features a large, newly refurbished outdoor play area with three separate gardens, perfect for exploring and learning through play. We cater to all ages, from our youngest explorers taking their first steps to curious toddlers and preschoolers, all within a caring and fun environment. Each nursery room is tailored to the specific ages of the children, ensuring that every child feels comfortable and engaged.You’ll find our nursery situated on the Kingsmead Estate, just five minutes from Northwich town centre. Free parking is available for staff.

Essential Criteria

To apply, you must:

• Be able to provide evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE Maths and English grade 3/D or above or Level 2 Functional Skills)

Desirable Criteria (not essential)

• A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification
