Busy Bees Cheltenham Prestbury Road offers an Early Years Apprenticeship. Start your career in childcare, learn through the EYFS framework, and gain hands-on experience with a supportive team and dedicated mentors at the UK’s leading nursery group.

This role provides practical training, friendly guidance, and real progression in a caring environment. You will access bespoke Learning & Development courses and contribute to the Bee Curious curriculum while benefiting from structured development

Qualifications

• Be passionate about childcare and motivated to start a career in Early Years.
• To meet funding eligibility, you must have been a UK resident for at least the 3 consecutive years.
• Provide evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE Maths and English grade 3/D or above or Level 2 Functional Skills).

Responsibilities

• Help plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
• Support the team to provide high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences for all children.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure children’s individual needs are understood and met.
• Contribute to the safeguarding of all children.
• Work toward completing your apprenticeship within the expected timeframe.
• Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to your own development.

Busy Bees Cheltenham Prestbury Road, rated Good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 64 children and is a strong and progressive center committed to providing families with the best care and stimulating environments. Our hardworking team is dedicated to ensuring that the children in their care receive the best start in life. We have access to a local library and two parks within the community, and we often visit the local care home to foster connections. Essential Criteria

• Be passionate about childcare and motivated to start a career in Early Years
• To meet funding eligibility, you must have been a resident in the UK for at least the 3 consecutive years
• Be able to provide evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE Maths and English grade 3/D or above or Level 2 Functional Skills)

Desirable Criteria (not essential)

• A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification
