Busy Bees Harrow is recruiting an Early Years Apprentice to begin a rewarding career in childcare. You will learn by doing, plan and deliver activities under EYFS, and work with a supportive team dedicated to your development.

Qualificações

• Passion for childcare and motivation to start a career in Early Years.
• UK resident for at least 3 consecutive years (funding eligibility).
• Evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE 3/D or Level 2 Functional Skills).

Responsabilidades

• Help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities following EYFS.
• Support the team to provide high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure children’s individual needs are understood and met.
• Contribute to safeguarding of all children.
• Complete apprenticeship through Busy Bees Education and Training within the expected timeframe.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to development.

About our Nursery

Busy Bees Harrow, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 56 children and offers quality early years education from babies to preschoolers. Each child is guided and supported by our caring team, ensuring they receive the best start to their education through a wide range of exciting activities and fantastic learning opportunities. Our North West London nursery is conveniently located on Francis Road, just a five-minute drive from St Ann's Shopping Centre, with excellent transport links connecting to the Metropolitan Line, Bakerloo Line, and Overground. Your responsibilities and expectations

As an apprentice, you will:

• Help plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
• Support the team to provide high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences for all children
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ensure children’s individual needs are understood and met
• Contribute to the safeguarding of all children
• Work proactively toward completing your apprenticeship provided by Busy Bees Education and Training within the expected timeframe
• Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to your own development

Essential Criteria

To apply, you must:

• Be passionate about childcare and motivated to start a career in Early Years
• To meet funding eligibility, you must have been a resident in the UK for at least the 3 consecutive years
• Be able to provide evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE Maths and English grade 3/D or above or Level 2 Functional Skills)

Desirable Criteria (not essential)

• A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification
