Job summary

N Family Club in Stoke Newington is offering an Apprentice Educator position. You’ll gain hands‑on experience while working towards your Early Years Apprenticeship (Level 2 or Level 3).

Rotating around the nursery rooms, you’ll provide safe and inspirational care to every child you work with. As soon as your apprenticeship is finished, you’ll move into a qualified educator role with us and begin to build your future in early years education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the learning through play ethos and the N Curriculum.
• Support daily routine for smooth transitions between meals, naps, and play.
• Plan innovative learning experiences to support child development.
• Carry out high-quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Support mealtime supervision in line with safety policies.
• Keep every area clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Commit to the apprenticeship path and gain Early Years qualification.

Your key responsibilities

• Learn and support our daily routine to ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Learn to plan innovative, challenging learning experiences to support child development.
• Learn how to carry out high‑quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
• Learn how to build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Learn how to support mealtime supervision in line with N’s safety policies.
• Make sure every area is kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Commit to your apprenticeship path and gain your Early Years qualification.
