Job summary

Little Stars Nursery and Preschool is offering an Apprenticeship as an Early Years Practitioner in Glossop. You will train on the job while working toward the Level 2 EY Practitioner qualification, earning while you learn and supporting children’s development.

The role starts with a wage around £12.26 per hour, with full training and mentorship from qualified staff, and benefits including pension contributions and 60% childcare discounts across our England settings.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under the age of five - desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and maintaining children’s records.
• Support safeguarding policies, health, safety and wellbeing of children.
• Help plan and deliver activities in line with EYFS.
