Job summary

Storal seeks an Apprentice Early Years Educator at Hemsley House Nursery School in Maidstone. You will support safeguarding and learning, applying Storal pedagogy daily and engaging with children and families to inspire development.

You’ll be part of a nurturing team, cost-effective and essential for school readiness, while completing a full apprenticeship in Early Years, 16+ and with GCSE English/Maths requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE English and Maths grade 2/E or Functional Skills Level 1 or above
• Must be 16 or over and able to commit to an apprenticeship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient and friendly disposition
• Consent to share information with employer for grades verification
• Travel within 40-minute drive by car or public transport

Responsibilities

• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy to daily activities
• Seek learning opportunities in routines such as mealtimes and transitions
• Bond with children and families through meaningful moments
