Job summary

Dentalcare Group is seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. This role offers full training and support toward a recognised dental nursing qualification and GDC registration, with hands-on experience in clinical and patient-facing duties.

You will work closely with clinicians, preparing rooms, assisting during NHS and private treatments, and contributing to infection control and record-keeping. Progression to a qualified nurse is available on completion.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care before, during and after treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support reception duties, including patient communication and appointments.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of NHS and private treatments
  
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms in line with infection control standards
  
• Decontaminate instruments and manage cross-infection protocols
  
• Support patient care before, during and after treatment
  
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulations
  
• Support reception duties when required, including patient communication and booking appointments
  
• Participate in training and coursework as part of your apprenticeship programme
