Job summary

Dentalcare Group is recruiting an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. You will receive full training toward a recognised dental nursing qualification and GDC registration, with hands-on experience in clinical and patient-facing duties.

You will work closely with clinicians, learn infection control protocols, and develop skills across NHS and private treatments while progressing on a structured apprenticeship programme and potentially advancing to a qualified Dental Nurse role.

Qualifications

• A strong interest in dentistry and patient care.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during NHS and private treatments
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms in infection control standards
• Decontaminate instruments and manage cross-infection protocols
• Support patient care before, during and after treatment
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Support reception duties when required, including patient communication and booking appointments
• Participate in training and coursework as part of your apprenticeship programme

The Role
