Job summary

Ems Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Data Cabling Engineer to learn copper and fibre cabling deployments, including installation, termination and testing. You will work alongside experienced installers, travel across the UK and Europe, and gain hands-on skills with Cat5e–6A and multi-mode/single-mode fibre cabling while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Open to evenings and away from home, the role offers on-the-job training in a growing trade with practical skill development and long-term

Qualifications

• Willing to learn hands-on cabling tasks.
• Good attitude and reliability.
• Ability to travel across UK/Europe.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, termination and testing of copper and fibre cabling.
• Work with hand and power tools.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Occasional overnight stays and travel as part of the role.
