Job summary

CCF in Cardiff is looking for a Branch Apprentice to deliver a high-quality sales service at the counter or by phone, using our product knowledge to answer enquiries, create quotes and help customers complete purchases.

You will also support warehouse tasks such as unloading deliveries and picking orders, while contributing to a safe, tidy environment. The role offers clear progression within the Travis Perkins Group and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• People-oriented and confident in building rapport with customers.
• Able to multitask and stay accurate under pressure.

• Forklift licence or previous trade experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

We are CCF. A Nationwide distributor of insulation and interior building products, with comprehensive stock for interior building specialists, contractors and builders. Delivering from over 35 branches with 750+ colleagues.

• At the Counter: You’ll provide a first-class sales service, whether you’re chatting with a long-term customer face-to-face or providing expert advice over the phone. Use your learnt knowledge of our products to assist with enquiries, provide product information, prepare quotes and help each customer with their purchase
• In the Warehouse: You’ll stay active and organised, unloading supplier deliveries with precision and picking orders to keep our promises to our customers.
• As a Team Player: You’ll muck in with general warehouse duties, ensuring our environment is safe, tidy, and efficient.
• Safety First: You’ll champion our non-negotiable safety culture, looking out for your colleagues and customers in every task you do.
