Job summary

Twyver Switchgear in Gloucester is seeking a Junior Contracts Engineer to start a career in electrical engineering and project management. You will support project delivery while undertaking a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship (Electrical & Electronic Engineering).

You'll be involved from quotation and design through to completion, learning under experienced engineers and gaining hands-on experience with real projects in a structured college program.

Qualifications

GCSEs English, Maths and Science at grade 9-4 or A*-C.
Level 3 Engineering based qualification of Maths based subject.
A good communicator with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.
Assist with quotations, cost breakdowns and commercial documentation.
Learn and assist with design of switchgear using AutoCAD.
Support procurement activities and liaise with suppliers/subcontractors.
Maintain accurate contract and project documents and attend site visits.
