Job summary

Green & Fortune is seeking an Apprentice Commis Chef to begin a career in hospitality. You will gain hands-on experience across our café, restaurant and events kitchens, with exposure to bakery and butchery to understand ingredients and techniques from start to finish.

No previous kitchen experience is required; what matters is your passion for food, willingness to learn, and drive to become a chef within a supportive team.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate Apprentice Commis Chef who is ready to start their career in hospitality, learn from experienced chefs and gain hands-on experience across a variety of kitchen environments.

As part of your apprenticeship, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across our café, restaurant and events kitchens, gaining experience with different styles of food preparation and service. You'll also have the chance to spend time within our bakery and butchery, building a broader understanding of ingredients, techniques and how great food is produced from start to finish.

You don't need to know everything already - we're looking for someone with a genuine interest in food, a willingness to learn and the enthusiasm to build a career as a chef.
