Job summary

Greene King in the United Kingdom is offering an Apprentice Chef role within its Community Pubs network. You’ll join a fast-paced kitchen team, learning to prepare, cook and present dishes to meet specifications while maintaining high hygiene standards.

The apprenticeship includes on-the-job training, mentoring, and exposure to new menus and promotions. You’ll gain Functional Skills in English and Maths, with regular reviews and a dedicated coach guiding your development.

Qualifications

• No college requirement; training delivered on the job.
• Functional Skills in English and Maths provided with support.
• Regular reviews with mentor and coach every 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to meet specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen.
