Job summary

Caterlink is seeking an Apprentice Chef at Havant Academy, Portsmouth area, to learn on site with our catering team and Development Chefs to ensure nutritionally balanced meals for students. You will be organised, hard-working and passionate about delivering quality food and service.

The apprenticeship includes on-the-job training, DBS disclosure, and a strong support network to help you develop skills and qualifications. Term-time only work, 38 weeks per year, with up to 30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Organised, hard-working and passionate about food.
• Interested in an apprenticeship in the catering industry.
• Willing to learn and commit to the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparing and cooking of meals.
• Ensure food safety and health and safety procedures are applied.
