Job summary

Ashdown Park Hotel invites aspiring chefs to join our award-winning kitchen team as a Chef Apprentice, training in a 4 red star environment. You will learn to prepare breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and banqueting, with opportunities to influence menus while working in the main kitchen.

You will gain hands-on experience and study towards your Professional Cookery qualification, attending college one day per week as part of the apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for producing high quality food.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to complete a Chef apprenticeship in a 4 red star hospitality environment within our award winning kitchen team.

The Chef's Apprentice will play an important part in the kitchen,learning how to prepare a range of quality dishes from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and banqueting and will includemaking suggestions on menus. The Chef's apprentice will work in the main kitchen to gain experience and knowledge of a range of style and services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands on experience whilst working towards your qualification in Professional Cookery attending one day a week at College.
