Job summary

Trescal invites you to join our Apprentice programme to become a Calibration Engineer. You will learn to calibrate and fault-find a wide range of measuring instrumentation while following our Quality System and ISO accreditation standards across UK sites.

The four-year programme includes in-house training across disciplines (pressure, temperature, electrical), college attendance weekly during term time, and progression toward Senior Engineer or Technical Lead roles within a growing global

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 4 or higher or Scotland National 5 in English, Math and Science.
• PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft software.
• Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to attend college weekly in term time.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and fault-find/repair measuring equipment.
• Work within our Quality System and ISO9001/ISO17025 procedures.
• Rotate across calibration disciplines in UKAS laboratories.
• Attend personal development and external training as part of the programme.
