Job summary

Drayton Motors BYD Bolton is recruiting an Apprentice Autocare Technician through GTG Training. You will train and work in the Bolton workshop, earning the National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage while completing the Autocare Technician Level 2 apprenticeship.

You will train through GTG Wolverhampton with block release training and regular in-work assessments to develop hands-on automotive repair skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE 4/Level 2 or above in Maths, English.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, including servicing and MOT preparation.
• Assist with removal, replacement and overhaul of major components.
• Develop skills in electrical fault diagnostics and safe workshop practice.
