Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our trust as an Apprentice Assistant Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging (MRI) and supporting in a university course which commences in September 2025.
This post will be at Ipswich Hospital.

You will work as part of the team to deliver a high-quality, responsive diagnostic service, ensuring excellent patient care in line with the hospital's core values.

You will participate in a training programme delivered by Derby University via distance learning to achieve the Level 5 Assistant Practitioner qualification. This role requires full-time work, 37.5 hours per week.
The apprenticeship lasts approximately 2 years, during which you will engage in training, development, and review activities, including:
You will be required to compile a portfolio demonstrating your learning and skills, working under the supervision of registered practitioners within multidisciplinary teams to assist in providing care and supporting the needs of service users.
