Job description

We are looking for a Apprentice Administrator to join our friendly team here at The Rotherham Foundation Trust.

This role is 5 days per week, Monday - Friday.

Main duties of the job
  • Use of accurate, efficient andquality booking service for TRFT consultants and specialities with regard tothe processing of appointments in accordance with Trust and Government targetsand current practices andprocedures.
  • Booking appointments on to thepatient administration system (SystemOne/Meditech) with specific attention tothe data items required for commissioning purposes and data quality.
  • Respond to all enquiries andproviding information such as figures and waiting time information.
  • Participate in the modernisation ofsystems and implement new ways of working, adhering to and changing systems inaccordance with new and existing government and trust targets, policies andprocedures.
  • Regular review of own systems andworking practice and put forward proposalsfor changes to working practice andprocedures
  • Responsible for the provision of an efficient andcomprehensive booking service to patients, ensuring a high level of customer care andmaintaining confidentiality at all times.
