Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an Applied AI Director to lead AI transformation for enterprise clients across the UK and Europe in a hybrid work model.

You will advise senior leaders, shape AI initiatives, and drive production-ready solutions while collaborating with consulting, engineering, design and data teams. You will mentor consultants and lead cross-functional teams to deliver value, grow EPAM's Applied AI practice, and shape engagements with account and sales teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a relevant industry (Banking, FS, Insurance, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Energy or Utilities) with responsibility for business performance or transformational initiatives.
• Hands-on expertise in generative AI and agentic systems, including LLMs and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience deploying AI solutions into production and measuring business value.

Responsibilities

• Advise C-suite and board on agentic transformation within the industry domain.
• Define and drive AI strategies using practical knowledge of generative AI and agentic systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams from concept to production and adoption; grow the Applied AI practice.

We're looking for an Applied AI Director to join our team in the UK or Europe in a hybrid working mode. This position offers a hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland and occasional office visits required.At EPAM, we help organizations turn advances in generative AI into measurable business outcomes. We combine deep engineering expertise with industry knowledge to help clients identify, design and scale AI-enabled solutions that deliver real value.In this role, you will advise senior business leaders on AI transformation, shape strategic initiatives and help clients move from experimentation to production-ready solutions.
