Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Architect to join Beneficial Deployments, focusing on maximizing Claude's impact in life sciences. You will advise flagship institutions, design scalable solutions, and lead engagements from discovery to deployment with researchers and engineers.

The role blends deep technical work with relationship-building and requires experience in life sciences, pedagogy, and AI systems deployment. Hybrid office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical role, with customer-facing exposure where relevant.
• Experience in life sciences, biomedical research, or scientific computing is preferred.
• Familiarity with LLM implementation patterns, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and retrieval.
• Experience building trust with academic/research institutions and biotech/science orgs.
• Strong teaching, mentoring, and ability to simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor to life sciences partners from discovery through deployment.
• Lead Claude-based solutions and enable life sciences workflows.
• Design cohort-based accelerators to scale expertise and impact.
• Identify hard deployment patterns and feed findings to product/engineering.
• Create scalable content and demos for partner onboarding and adoption.
• Travel to partner sites for workshops and relationship-building.
• Support team processes as the Beneficial Deployments group scales.
