About the Role

Our Bristol/Burgess Hill/Barrow offices provide warship automation systems, control, and simulation solutions for various naval vessels, including Albion Class Landing Platform Docks and Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers, with ongoing developments for Type 26 and Type 31 Frigates.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the Platform Management System (PMS) for marine platforms.
  • Create high-quality Configurable Software Components (CSC) adhering to engineering standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Engage with customers for requirements definition and technical reviews.
  • Collaborate internally to develop functional requirements and HCI pages.
  • Participate in design and testing reviews.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a postgraduate degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of systems concepts, interfaces, and system hierarchy.
  • Experience with requirements management tools (preferably DOORS).
  • Knowledge of systems design methodologies and MBSE tools (e.g., System Architect, Rhapsody).
  • Ability to understand broad engineering areas to support design and strategy.
