Job summary

KirkhamYoung Ltd. is recruiting an Applications Specialist - Ultrasound to support customers across the UK. You will deliver hands-on ultrasound training, provide demonstrations and applications advice, and help clinicians maximise system capabilities.

The role requires strong ultrasound knowledge, excellent communication, and a proactive, client-facing approach with willingness to travel nationwide and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' ultrasound experience in clinical or medical device environment.
• Experience delivering training to healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on ultrasound training to clinical teams across NHS and private sectors.

We\'re recruiting for an Applications Specialist - Ultrasound to join a well-established medical imaging business, supporting customers across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who combines strong ultrasound knowledge with a personable, engaging approach and a genuine enthusiasm for training and developing others.

The Role

Working closely with clinical teams across the NHS and private healthcare sector, you\'ll be responsible for delivering high-quality applications training and ongoing customer support.

• Delivering engaging, hands-on ultrasound training to clinical teams.
• Supporting customers with product demonstrations, presentations and applications advice.
• Helping clinicians maximise the capabilities of their ultrasound systems.
• Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Working alongside the commercial team to ensure an excellent customer experience.

About You

We\'re looking for someone who is confident, approachable and genuinely enjoys working with people.

Ideally, you\'ll bring:

• At least 2 years\' experience in ultrasound, gained in a clinical or medical device environment.
• Experience delivering training to healthcare professionals.
• Confidence presenting to both small and large groups.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic and organised approach.
• The ability to manage your own workload and priorities.
• Good IT skills, ideally including Microsoft Office, SAP or Salesforce.

You don't necessarily need to be an established Applications Specialist. If you\'re currently working clinically, already involved in training colleagues and would enjoy a more customer-facing role, we\'d love to hear from you.

This is a national position involving regular travel and overnight stays, so flexibility and a full driving licence are essential.
