Job summary

KirkhamYoung Ltd invites an Applications Specialist – Ultrasound to join a well-established medical imaging business providing nationwide training and support across the UK. You will deliver hands-on ultrasound training, demonstrate products, and help clinicians maximise system capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of ultrasound experience, strong presentation skills, and enjoy building relationships with healthcare professionals while managing travel requirements and competing priorities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in ultrasound, gained in a clinical or medical device environment.
• Experience delivering training to healthcare professionals.
• Confidence presenting to both small and large groups.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to manage your own workload and priorities.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging, hands‑on ultrasound training to clinical teams.
• Supporting customers with product demonstrations, presentations and applications advice.
• Helping clinicians maximise the capabilities of their ultrasound systems.
• Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Working alongside the commercial team to ensure an excellent customer experience.
