Job summary

Luminance, the pioneer of Legal-Grade AI for enterprise, is seeking Application Engineers to design and develop Luminance's web-based applications that apply its core AI technology to real-world use cases in the legal sector.

The role offers a chance to specialise in UI, Backend or a blend, and to grow within a collaborative, inclusive team that values enthusiasm and proactive learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone.js, React or Vue.js.
• Experience in server-side stacks using node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch or Redis.
• UI/UX design and implementation.
• Python or Java knowledge is also useful.
• Understanding of software development best practices and architecture, particularly of web-based, single-page applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Luminance's web-based applications using core AI technology.
• Specialise in UI, Backend or a mix of both within the team.
• Collaborate across product and engineering to deliver high-quality software.

Luminance's team of Application Engineers are responsible for designing and developing Luminance's suite of web-based applications, which apply Luminance's core AI technology to different use cases in the legal sector. The team uses a modern technology stack, and team members can specialise in either UI, Backend or a mix of both!

This role is open to both graduates with a willingness to learn the desired skills, as well as more senior candidates with proven, prior experience in them.
