Job summary

Farnborough Airport is seeking an Applications Analyst to join our technology team. You will support and maintain a portfolio of business-critical applications across the Airport and Group, administering users, permissions and configurations while guiding testing, releases and supplier interactions.

You will gain exposure to Power BI reporting, IT projects, and continuous improvement initiatives in a live operational environment at a leading European aviation hub.

Qualifications

• Evidence of Right to Work in the UK.
• Full 5-year employment/educational history.
• Able to obtain CRC and CTC clearances for security level.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in Service Desk, Application Support, Systems Administration, Software Testing, QA or similar IT role.
• Troubleshooting software and application issues.
• Managing users, permissions and system access.
• Working with stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Supporting live operational business systems.
• Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI.

Job description

We're looking for an Applications Analyst to join our technology team at Farnborough Airport, Europe's leading business aviation airport. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Service Desk, Application Support, Systems Administration, Software Testing, QA or IT Projects who wants to build a specialist career supporting and improving business-critical applications.

Working closely with the Applications Manager, you'll help support a diverse portfolio of systems used across the Airport, Aviator Hotel and wider Group businesses. You'll gain exposure to application administration, software projects, testing, supplier management, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

About you: Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Evidence of Right to Work in the UK.
• Full 5-year employment/educational history required (with no unaccounted-for gaps).
• Able to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) certificate and a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) certificate to the required security clearance level for this role.
• Hold a full valid UK Driving License or equivalent.
• Experience in:
• Service Desk, Application Support, Systems Administration, Software Testing, QA or a similar IT role.
• Troubleshooting software and application issues.
• Managing users, permissions and system access.
• Working with business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Supporting business systems in a live operational environment.
• Experience of airport, aviation or hotel systems.
• Exposure to Power BI or reporting tools.
• Experience supporting software implementations or business system projects.
