Spectrum IT Recruitment in Bournemouth is seeking an Application Support and Test Engineer to join a growing technology-focused team. The role combines application support with testing in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and offers hybrid working (2–3 days on-site).

You will apply QA and manual testing skills, work with SQL, Power BI, API testing, and Playwright to verify features and resolve defects, while documenting findings for stakeholders.

Qualifications

2 years' commercial software QA experience within a web-based environment.
2 years' experience in manual application testing.
Experience with defect tracking and bug management processes.
Strong technical documentation skills with excellent written English.
Proficiency in SQL.
Experience with Power BI.
Experience with API testing.
Experience with automated testing using Playwright.
Business analysis and workflow/process design understanding.
