Job description

Excellent opportunity opens for a broadly skilled Application Support Engineer / Trade Support with strong FX and/or Cloud knowledge to join a top-rated UK Bank.

1. Understand connectivity between microservice applications.
2. Configure monitoring tools.
3. Knowledge of the FX electronic trading space, including Pricing distribution, liquidity providers, pricing aggregation, and client connectivity.
4. Proficiency with FIX, XML, MQ, Kafka.

The successful candidate will have skills in SQL/UNIX and a problem-solving mentality. They will possess strong functional knowledge of FX products and a good working knowledge of financial products.

Must have knowledge of FX pricing and distribution channels, along with experience with typical message standards transmitted between systems.

The candidate should have a proven technical track record with tools used for first-line application support for cloud-based applications. Knowledge of Commodities, IRD, Fixed Income, Bonds, and Equities is beneficial. A proactive mentality and enthusiastic attitude are important for this team-oriented environment.
