This role involves providing application support with excellent communication skills. It is an office-based position in Runcorn, Cheshire, requiring commuting 5 days a week. Responsibilities include supporting clients via telephone and remote access, installing server software, supporting device setup and configuration, establishing network communications, supporting software releases, providing customer training, and participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of client-facing IT support experience, problem-solving skills, understanding of TCP/IP networks, software implementation experience, and flexibility to support UK, Europe, and beyond. Additional beneficial skills include knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, scripting languages, industrial communication protocols, and additional languages such as German, Spanish, or French.
