Job Description:
This position is responsible for complex to expert level work supporting information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing them.
Responsibilities include supporting applications such as electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing, collections, lab and pathology, radiology, PACS, cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long-term care, population health, patient-facing technologies, ERP, workforce scheduling, CRM, and more.
The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance throughout the application lifecycle, providing strategic guidance to align support with organizational goals. They manage projects, mentor analysts, and develop best practices for application configuration, deployment, support, and decommissioning.
Supervision of lower-level analysts may be required.
Essential functions are performed independently with minimal supervision and include providing support, analyzing problems, translating requirements, configuring and maintaining systems, documenting workflows, partnering with vendors, solving issues, managing projects, mentoring teams, developing standards, participating in training, integrating hardware, developing reports, participating in on-call duties, testing, attending meetings, managing budgets, engaging with industry groups, overseeing IT projects, and communicating with leadership.
Skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in-depth business and application knowledge, system analysis, problem-solving, report writing, project management, and resource planning.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, business, or related field, certification in Healthy Planet Compass Rose, experience with Epic Care Management tools, Epic Compass Rose programs, collaborative care plans, SDoH, Reporting Workbench, and Epic modules. A minimum of 8 years of healthcare experience is required.
Physical requirements involve operating computers, visual acuity, and long periods of sitting or standing.
Location: Peaks Regional Office, Broomfield, Colorado. Work hours: 40 per week. Salary range: $53.58 - $84.36 per hour.
