Mcphee Staffing Ltd is a leading staffing agency in Chelmsford, UK, providing temporary and permanent employment solutions to various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled Appliance Technician for our clienton a temporary basis.

As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, and ovens. Your main goal will be to ensure that these appliances are functioning properly and meet the safety standards set by the company.

Key responsibilities:

• Install new appliances in customers' homes, ensuring proper connections and functionality
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on appliances to identify and address any potential issues
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning appliances, including replacing parts and components as needed
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from clients
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technological advancements in appliance repair and maintenance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Appliance Technician or similar role
• Technical knowledge of various household appliances and their functions
• Familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems
